I´ve been working again in the engine, cleaning the coal on the piston, a lot of the dirty coal was removed, but there is still some in the valves cavities, that i will remove it in other way, by dipping the pistons into diluent or gasoline to get the coal soften and easier to remove.
Here's the pics As they were before the cleaning During Almost.. Done (But still with some coal to remove in the cavities of valves) I've been preparing the 2nd piston, today. Because, as i said before, i am using petrol to clean the pistons, to dissolve most of the coal, so it can be easier to clean it As it is Old rings And it's going to stay like this til tomorrow Jorda MotorSport Keto Beams Project |

And now, the SAD news...
The engine was sold, 3 weeks ago, because i am unemployed and i needed the money to other stuff, the engine went to Azores, and the new owner, is also restoring a KE70, like me, so it's in good hands. I am now looking for a new engine, but i will only buy it in the next year, and i am thinking in a BEAMS! Jorda MotorSport Keto Beams Project |
