all AE85 owners
i posted this theme before ,all the AE85 owners with 3AU engines i know everybody do notuse that engine or blah blah ,all the 3AU in AE85 use k50 gearbox with cable clutch but in mine it is not,i have a reservoir and all the stuff to be hidraulic.so u AE85 with 3au owners have cable or hidraulic too, oviously the later owner maybe before he bought it in japan ,the past owner set a T50 but i cheked the gearbox and dont seem like a t50 thats my issue, maybe its not a t50 and not a k50,maybe other stuff.I hope is the T50 but i think i have to take a photo to u ppl see it ah?
so i have to do it cause if its a T50 its less money to spend u know any with my same car but with hidraulic clutch? |

If it's a T50 it should say T50 on the top of the gearbox.

there are hydraulic clutch type K50's too, so don't rule that choice out!

I have never seen a factory hydro K-50 in a AE85.
A quick way to tell if it is a K-50 gearbox is they do not have a removable bellhousing. Where as the T-50 do, you will be able to chect that from under the car without removing the gearbox.
