Koyo Bearings Part Number (Needed)
Hi
Someone knows the KOYO part numbers of the bearings used in our cars? Koyo is the toyota suplier for the bearings on our car. In order to get them cheaper i´m looking for those part numbers. The rear axle is more urgent, but if someone can provide the whole thing... better. I´ll do some investigation too, if i get something i´ll add that info here. Thanx in advance Cump´s Filipe Oliveira |

I´ve found those references on ebay, but they´re nothing. Maybe is the seller codes. I went to a koyo dealer today and the bearing has the code that jondee86 refered. I confirmed the other codes, but theres no locking ring at the store. Price- 155.00 plus 25% discount. If anyone is interested... (not comercial sales). Cump´s Filipe Oliveira |

These are the details of the pinion bearings from Toyota :
Locking Nut: 90179-18001 Pinion Seal: 90311-38015 (HMSB 38 65 12 SXRT) Front Bearing: 90368-30002 (KOYO M86610-N HI-CAP 30 x 64) Crush Sleeve: 41231-22010 Back Bearing: 90368-34049 (KOYO HM88610-N HI-CAP 34 x 72) The seal is a bit special... here is a picture of it. I'm not sure that it will be so easy to find in your local bearing shop Cheers... jondee86 The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. That seal of the pinion is easy to find, its same on TA-and TE carinas and corollas.
Autoparts stores have those for couple euros. But those aftermarket seals as usual, dont have that kind of lining (like that: ////////////////) on the inner lip what original seals have. It purpose is avoid oil leaks somehow . |

Aha... I had to get the crush tube from Toyota, so I just ordered all the
parts from the Toyota dealer to save time. Usually I get bearings and seals from a bearings shop. But I never ordered a pinion seal before, so didn't even consider going elsewhere. If I ever need another one (and I hope I don't) I'll know better... thanks BTW the "decoration" inside the seal is a factory applied bead of grease. Cheers... jondee86 The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man. |
