nice car(s) man.

But i'd also be interested in the reason for the rhd switch?

the only plus point i see is that the gas pedal is right next to the driver's side door so you can sit on the door with the window open and do burnouts with the left foot like the japanese.. Wink

shifting with a rhd is always the same as lhd

24r
so there is no difference in gearboxes Wink
u get used to it pretty quick as u use it for a daily drive
the only problem is for passing by cars if u life in a lhd-country

grtz Wink

its all good. i dont hate you. the main reason i did a RHD conversion on my car was:

1. i work at the Post Office as a mail man and i drive a RHD truck everyday. ive always wanted to have and drive a RHD car for fun.

2. the firewall on my hatch was already cut and messed up and i wanted to replaced it with a good one.

3. being here in the U.S. it was rare to see a RHD car on the road.

after all said and done, im pretty much happy and satisfied on how my car came out. considering i did all the work just by myself.

i dont think that buying a rhd 86 is a good idea. cuss its to damn expensive! u can spend 9k and it has noting inside. cuss its been taking apart just to ship over here, then its not even registered to be driven on california streets, so theres more money to be spent. in the end what solar did was the best thing to do.
i would like to do this to my project being that its all stripped out already. but i have no money to do so. Crying

looks good.
