I understand your point, but seriously... the AE86 scene is pretty much dead.... People moved on to better cars...
The few that remain with the hachirokus are the ones who love them... And honestly nobody cares about weights and brake distribution... If you want brakes, go for RX7 or WillWood.... If you want power go to F20C, SR20DET or 20V BT... If you want a better suspension, buy some good quality coilovers and mount them with prothane bushings and some TRD bars... If you want to save panels, go to XTR or MCNSPORT and fiber the shit outta your AE86... The rest is drift, race, garagelife and girls..... combined with friends and beer! Regards man |

I do understand your point, but seriously if U dont know what U have, U dont know that U want to change this and why do so ?
Anyway, in my case it's not that simple. I wrote about this on another thread so You can not know. Im working on the driving simulator. I chose this car because it is good(I like it) and has a wide range of applications. I had expected that the data will be easy to get, unfortunately blew a little. But it's not so bad. Going back to topic: - Aircon unit (everything) 13.2kg - Sunroof parts almost all:8,5kg - Suroof interior part under the roof(gehemelte):400gr - Door wityh everything no power windows:27,8kg (so we need PS and ) - Bumper front:13kg - Bumper rear:16.5kg Therefore we missing: - US bumpers - US doors and window power steering - AM/FM stereo/cassete - power steering - cruise control - rear wipe/washer |

To know what you have or not you must drive it! Fuck theories...!
First step - Grab your AE86! Second step - Enjoy it! Third step - Read and study to evolve what's worst on your car... ANd with this i'm outta here, this thread makes no sense for me at all. Good luck mate |

From your point of view, it's true ...
... but again, I do NOT have a car. I cant enjoy it. and to build a simulator numbers are needed, and even necessary. I'm glad you can enjoy your car, Im even a little jealous. Unfortunately live in the reality in which the simulation is the maximum of my capabilities. I'm not complaining, just trying to do my thing. |

Thanks a lot Oldeskewltoy
Unfortunately, the yellow-green tables are still unreadable. I dont know if they contain important information ? The only way translations of Japanese for me is OCR software then online translator. I am not able to prescribe these stamps, in Poland we call them worms. In any case, in spite of better quality tables are still unreadable. Whats more I have the impression that there are not many strictly technical data. I found a few interesting books which may contain a lot of information, unfortunately, I am unable to purchased even single one of them. They are unreachable. But it is good anyway because they are suspension diagrams - this will help a lot. I still have a quiet hope for blueprints but those diagrams are a lot better then nothing - so Im glad. |

Might any of this documentation you speak about be "reachable" by one of us??? Maybe give us some titles to search for. Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! Yea, they're all in japanese. But hardly unreachable, you can find them all on ebay.
