20 valve AE86 coupe Levin from PERU
Hi all, my name is Luis, I´m from Peru and I just got a 1984 AE86 levin coupe. I bought a 20 valve 4ag (silver top) a few months ago and after some improvments I´ll install it. I also found a set of 15" SSR EX-C Mesh so it should be a really good looking car (and hopefuly a fast one too) in a couple of months. It didn´t have LSD or disk brakes in the back so I´m looking for a GTS or GT LSD and brakes.

well.. it´s been a looooong time since I started this post, and after many of you may have found out in your own projects, it took me A LOT more time (and money) than expected (11 months to be exact). Anyway, it´s alive now and i think it totally paid off. Obviously, it still needs some work and a paint job but mechanically it´s perfect.
I put in a 20v silvertop with a blacktop ECU and even when it´s revving up to just 7600 (I don´t have a speed sensor connected to the ecu, the former engine was carburated), and without any big mods, only a port & polish job, custom header and a little more compression than stock it feels amazing. I took some pics last week so here they are... |
