20v itb inlet manifolds
Hi,
looking for opinions on these two inlet manifolds please:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190766125345?s...1555.l2649

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200846577516?s...1555.l2649
(scroll down for more pictures)

Specifically would either likely fit into a right hand drive AE86
with a brake servo (booster) fitted and does the T3 one fit
a rhd car with a servo ?

Thanks for any input

hard to tell from just the pics. We would need to know the thickness (distance between the flanges). Also it seems the are straight and not at an angle so you'd loose a it more space again.
Last but not least, most manifolds fit the issues in 99% of all cases are the trumpets/stacks and this again is depending of how long yours are going to be.

EDIT as was too quick and only seen one link.
The bent ones might work out better if you have longer stacks as long as the dont hit the hood.

PS: quality/flow wise the cast one seems a bit better but I think both could use some work.

EDIT2: if you look at the picture of the angled one, he's engine is sitting way low and on the other pic you can see that the mounted itbs (without stacks!) are level with the camcover so not much room left.
If you know a good craftsmen he could knock you up some of the same style as the angled ones easily and to your specs.

I though the same thing about the angled one hitting the hood
but the cast one looks ok and would possibly flow better.

My choice then really comes down to the cast one or a known quantity
T3 one, any thought on that Bean ?

Anyone have any idea how well the T3 inlet flows ?

I got the T3 one myself, it's nicely done but has room for improvement too. I'm on my phone right now so can't check but I thought there are pictures on my photobucket that show the issue. Basically the milled it tom two sides and where it intersects there is an edge that needs careful attention.

Not sure on your budget but appart of TRD and the Sanyo one I think the best fitting and quality is the setup from tweakit in Australia.

Thing is that I already have an inlet manifold for twin DCOE Weber
carbs, I wonder if it could be made to work with the itb's ?

Maybe, the main issue will be the spacing between the inlet centers. It could be doable but will needbsome custom work for sure. Why not run carbs?

I have got the complete carb set-up but I've also learnt how to
map my Freedom ecu....
I could use the Freedom with the carbs but ideally I want to be able
to have an easy bolt on solution that uses as much of the existing injection /
ignition stuff as possible.
The car is used for two different motorsport disciplines, one
requiring a stock single throttle body.

Understand, had a look and it seems I didn't post the pics of the T3 manifold - so here goes:

Looks like a nice manifold and for the price and the fact it is a proven product
I will try to get one sent to the U.K

I can probably sell the carb set-up for close to the price of an inlet and
itb's.

Do you know the story with the TPS on the itb's Bean,
can I use the smallport one that I have fitted at the moment with the
itb's ?
