4AC to 4AGE help
I have an AE86 with the carburated SOHC...enough said. I was going to to do a head swap until i found the i had problems in the engine block. Is it possible to take one of the US Corollas with the 4AGE and drop it in right onto the SR-5 tranny. The reason i ask is because most corollas available in my area with the 4AGE are in late 80's early 90's Corolla and are FWD, and i'm not sure if the transmission will bolt right up to the the new engine even though it's the same block.

The tranny will bolt up, but better to get a GT bellhousing as the clutch slave cylinder is on the other side.
