Factory power mirror loom
Can someone with factory fitted power mirrors, please post a picture that clearly shows exactly where the loom exits the shell and enters the door? I have been trying to work it out for a while and just now saw some pictures on ebay which give some clues.

Thanks!

Hmmm, should have done that one day earlier: could have taken pictures then. Undecided
As I can recall it is somewhere just above the door hinge

You don't have a hole in the door post for it to go through?

After the hint I got from an ebay photo, if I look in the footwell I can see this

the largish circle, which i suspects needs to be drilled out to take the grommet.

Drivers side (RHS) factory fitting as far as I know. My car didn't have
electric mirrors originally, but the owner before me fitted them, and he
was the type of guy to do things properly Smile

Sorry about the crap picture, but I couldn't open the door any further

That's fantastic Jondee86. I think I am a bit like the guy you bought your car off. I want it to be exactly right. Thanks for making the effort!
