4AGE 20V clutch problem.
I have just fitted a 20v silvertop, I seem to have a problem with a harshness coming through the clutch, I just fitted a new clutch kit. Does anyone have a manual/guide/picture for fitting this.

Cheers

Ivan

4AGE 20V clutch problem.
Other than having to fit a pilot bearing (since the FWD gearbox didnt require one), this is exactly the same as fitting a clutch to a 16V

Do you have any pictures of the pilot bearing or manuals guides etc. I not really that familiar with the clutch setup.

Take a look through the online manual mate http://files.aeu86.org/manuals/AE86Manual.pdf Thumbs up! I'll see if I can track down the part number for you, it should be amongst the forums somewhere.

EDIT: Found - pilot bearing 90363-12003

Cheers for the info, I was told the part no on the bearing is 6001, is this correct and could be got from a bearing supllier.

Hmmm. Seems as if you might need to lube up the connections, with lithium grease.

I took the engine out again, and fitted the crank pilot bearing, but I'm still having problems with the clutch. The clutch has been bled and has normal biting point etc. But if you put the car in gear, kepp the cluch into the floor, then rev the engine to 4-5K the car moves back as if the clutch is engaging. Any Ideas? I'm going to pull it out a agian and maybe fit the old clutch.

Cheers
