yes thats my idea im going to rally it in the 1400 class im finding it hard to locate an engine tho you no any one or got any ideas? Smile

When you find that engine, you can put the 4A-GE crankshaft in there -> then you have a 1397,23cc and it will fit straight in there :wink:

agree, swift gti are great cars, but the rally rules sure dont allow to put this engine in kp60.

Good luck with it. I would be interested in your results. I considered doing this as I had a spare 2a engine and a bigport head and internals. I would suggest hitting up the wreckers for old corollas. Over here you can't give them away! I would assume it would be the same thing in the UK given you guys get through a lot more cars than us.

If you're driving a rally class that allows you to put in the bastard child of a tercel and an ae86, then surely it would also allow you to use a straightforward swift gti engine.
There's probably a rwd gearbox that will fit it too (from a Jimny perhaps).
I doubt it's any more involving than putting a 4age in a kp60, although I havent seen any mention of a starlet in the original post here.

jup, Suzuki SJ413 box fits, and gets a very lightweight combo (about 90kgs in total i believe)
