4age tuning cheap tips????
I could change the windows but this is going to cost over 300 quid and is very time consuming! Already have rally bucket seats which are quite light! Removed as much trim as the regs/rules allow! I could use a small port but I have a spare large port engine which I was planning on refreshing! A TRD head gasket should increase the torque a little then yeh! Also a good idea to [port match! I have about four or five spare inlet manifolds to practice gas flowing too!I also have a few spare heads but as long as they are good condition and have new seals etc is there much point in doing more than a little porting?
If I aint sideways, I aint trying hard enough!!!!!!! |

The ports are already too fookin big.. the only thing I'd bother with is cleaning casting flaws out. And if you're installing a trd gasket you'll have to get the head and block milled flat anyway...if it's metal it will leak if you dont.

I didnt realise that the block would have to be skimmed as well as the head! I suppose it figures though! Would be better to have a full rebuild at the same time if the block is already out!
Perhaps I should wait a while and have it all done together! Just recived a phone call to say my road car needs a new gearbox too which is a kick in the nuts! Puts me back a bit financially which really pi**ed me off! If I aint sideways, I aint trying hard enough!!!!!!! |

You could just have the block "lapped"..that can be done without the engine out.. but only if it's flat and true already..All I know is that metal headgaskets tend to be troublesome when the mating surfaces arent flat enough.
