5 or 6 brakelines?
Circuitfreak, you have the same kit and are also from the Netherlands.
Is this set 2 brakeline's for the front, 2 brakeline's for the back and one for the axle? 125 euro seems like a reasonable price? Did you bent your brackets at your strut to fit them in? |

5 or 6 brakelines?
The kit you see on the pic is mine, its the same kit from the link in your message (Goodridge Toyota Corolla 1.6i (AE86)).
It has 4 cables for the front and 2 for the back in it. When you connect the fronts it will make 2 complete cables. I also payed 125 euro's for it at biesheuvel. i bought them a few months ago so maybe they changed something with the sets. I thing you should call them to ask about the axle cable. And yes i bended my brackets on my struts but i did that to get the old ones out the easy way. Good luck. 5 or 6 brakelines?
Hee, buy the way; How doe you install a handbrake wich works with brakefluidlines (which looks pretty good by the way!!)
Original is with steel cables, do you have to install them on the regular brake fluidsystem? Does it really work better? just wondering |

5 or 6 brakelines?
Jup, you plug it into your original brakelines..and if the quality of all the materials used isn't top notch, u lose some line pressure during ordinary braking.'This will not get you through a Dutch MOT/APK as the rules state that the handbrake needs to be on a "separate" system to ensure you have a backup during loss of line pressure. Best keep your original handbrake assembly nearby for the test, or conjure up a method to hook up the cables to the new lever.

5 or 6 brakelines?
Nohachi is right about that.
But i already talked about that with my MOT/APK guy and he said that its no problem. Its just needs to work like a normal handbrake to. I can tell you how it works after its installed. I got some other things to do first. Toyota MR2 2.0 16V Gen3 Turbo Toyota MR2 1.6 16V Toyota Corolla GTZ Twincam 1.6 16V (AE86) (Sold. ) Toyota Corolla GT Twincam 1.6 16V (My new project ) |

5 or 6 brakelines?
Really? You might want to ask that another time... The need for a handbrake assembly at the rear is the main reason why finding cheap junkyard swaps is such a problem..if we don't need that, then tons of better (read: lighter) options come in to view..especially from the motorcycle world.
