BUT!

if you want more power in your 4age,you need alot of $$$$
and it stops at 200bhp,and now with a sr20det engine i can compete against the"big bhp cars" and it cost less then tuning a 4age...
but yessss is kills the spirit of the hachi, but for drift competition you will need big power, but yeah,it now has 308bhp and 435nm,and next year i will built another engine,2.2 stroker, bigger turbo etc, goal is 450bhp,and im building it for time attack and trackdays

mine friends ta22 whit 4agte engine did dyno 534hv@538nm AND not that big $$$$ what you could think. and that power eaven ae86 will go FAST

This is not the thing to compare... no matter from what angle you will look at SR20 / 4ag swap - SR20 will be better in every aspect cuz in stock form it already has 220+ HP and its a TURBO engine... so with the low $ you can have 280+ and it will be sceary in AE86 if its all done right...

To have 300hp from 4AGE - it will requer ALOT more $ then just go and get SR20 swap Wink And in the end you will blow 4AGTE if you gonna go cheap way...

BUT... as far as the engine goes - i would ALWASY keep the 4AGE/GTE or build 7AGTE Big Grin just to stay on Toyota theme Big Grin

Ok time for a little update,

I've removed everything from inside the car, and I mean everything, dash, heater all of it. I'm building a custom dash to house all the gauges and switches, but no more heater.

Also I changed the front lca's to s13 items and added powersteering knuckels. I still need to get it alligned but everything works fine and I gained a lot of lock Huh

I have a lot of other things going on as well Evil

Only 1 pic for now, just a teaser for what's to come Wave

if you get rid of the heater you could get problems in winter, damp on windows etc.

There is going to be a little electric heater for the front window, forgot to mention it. I bought one of these:
Interieur ventilator 12v 150 W

Warmte en koude ventilator.
Te gebruiken in sigarettenaansteker.
150 Watt - 12.3 Amp.
Kabellengte 2 mt.
