Hi all,

As I now own my Hachi for almost a month, I thought it would be time to start a project topic here.

I bought the car like this:

Over the following month I changed wheels 3 times but now I've found something that'll probably stay on for a little longer.

It already came with full custom made exhaust, lowering springs and sparco steering wheel.

I've added 2 buckets seats with harnesses (had to custom make the entire rails system what a pain in the ass ), kn open filter, 7x13 ATS classic wheels painted black with 175/50-13 tires, a little audio system including pioneer woofer,sony front speakers and boschmann rear speakers and i changed the plugs to ngk iridium ones.

Plans for the future are:
-Some engine mods (no 20v or 3sgte conversions for me as it's impossible with our lovely rules in Belgium )
-Suspension if the old shocks are busted I'll put some trd's or something in there, but nothing major.
-There might be a paint job coming soon, but I won't tell colors yet (no it won't be panda )

I recently had the car up to change the wheels and I had time to check the bottom, and i'm very pleased to say it rock solid underneath, it's been fully handeled. The car does have a few marks but that's to be expected from a 22year old car.

Now for a few questions
-the rolla has electric roof thingy, but there is supposed to be something covering the part that opens, mine is gone anyone who got one laying around?
-I heard that the stock rev limiter is 7500rpm, but mine goes up to 7900rpm any ideas, chip maybe??

All this was done a pretty small budget as i'm still only 19years old and this is my first car. Most people declared I was crazy that I bought this car, but I had the chance to buy my dreamcar as my first car so I just went for it. I love this car to death and hope I'll get to drive it as long as possible.

Lovely car once more but may I ask you why do you change the wheels from ronal turbo (lookalike?) to ATS 13"????? and it is not too small with 175/50 size tyres?

BTW thats your choice and I would say I like it with Ronal Turbo (lookalike?)

And the seats are nice. I like it!!!! Can you tell me how much did you paid for them?

I know the tire size is too small, but i can't get hold of any decent tire size, but I don't mind it being too small, good acceleration and i only do short trips with it.

The (REAL) Ronals just weren't my taste, they were on the car as i bought it, i bought the ats of ebay for 25€ with tires and i liked it more then the ronals.

I paid 250€ for the pair of seats.

Very nice speciment, looks mint. But whoa 175/50/13 ??! That is way too small man. It even looks odd. Just so you know, that when your speedo shows 100 km/h, you are actually going only 87 km/h. when 200, you will actually be at 174 km/h... it maybe feels fast, but i dont think the acceralation is improoved. Other than that its a very nice car with all the right mods. Enjoy!

My TA60 currently has 165/70/R13 and I was planning to go for 185. 175 would also be sufficient for the carina, however for a hachi?

stock limiter kouk itype is 7800 rpm and from a zenki 8200

Here is a good graphic tyre size calculator; 185/60/14 is the the stock size - compare it to your new dimensions. If you enter 175/50/13 you will see the wheel diameter is considerably smaller than what stock wheel looks like. Also you will see the speedo error & % down below.

i would go with 185/65/13 or at least 185/60/13. 50 on a 175 is very little.
