You can do it this way:

Big Grin

Seriously: you need the airco radiator, hoses, pump, engine pulleys and also swap the heater-unit and heater-panel.
In most European countries the airco option was not available, so they are quite scarce. Perhaps some people who imported a JDM hachi in the UK and Ireland have one left? Dumb question

In Australia, most people (including me) pull them out. You also need the condensor, and the A/C idle up circuit.

Is the condensor the same as the Airco radiator?? Dumb question

I am pretty sure it is the round canister thing that sits on the front of it. If you need one, let me know and you can have it for the postage.

edit. actually banpei, you are right. The condensor is the radiator thingy. The bit I am referring to is the 'receiver'.

Note there is also a section of loom for the heater/aircon and amplifier that will probably just clip into your underdash loom. I have got a UK spec underdash loom here I could check if required.

Reason ?

For daily town driving, A/C is a must.

Have some for sell ? Smile

It's heavy! And adds a lot of clutter. With it gone, leaves more room for the remote oil cooler which we also didn't get in Australia.

And for me not a daily driver, only a fun car. I just wind down the window and feel the wind in my hair while the hot babes check me out Smile

If I want aircon I drive the Volvo V50 but at the cost of noisy children in the back.

Yes I have for sell, but the postage would be enormous!

One problem you face with retro fitting the aircon is the idler pulley arrangement. Depending on whether or not you have power steering, the idler pulley arrangement is different. In Australia we didn't get 4AGE equipped AE86's so all of them have been converted with engines bought from engine importers, and these engines could have come from AE82's, MR2's, corona's (as my original engine did) or AE86's. When I did my conversion, I ended up discovering an AW11 MR2 idler pulley was exactly right for my non power steering car.

And of course you need the 4AGE compressor and its bracket.
