AE86 20V D-Spec (new pics)
I ordered steering knuckles and 4,778 r&p from Techno Toy Tuning.
http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=789 http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=462 Parts arrived 2 days ago, so yesterday I started to assemble steering knuckles. When doing so, I installed new ball joints. This is the picture of T3 steering knuckle vs OEM knuckle, the difference is huge in thickness of material. Only thing that's bugging me, I don't know which hole to use to connect steering beam, the one closer or further from the ball joint. DRIFT.HR |

The inner hole should give you more steering angle, but it wall also make the steering harder

My car is now ready for season 2010
1. Steering knuckle - didn't manage to mount it on inner hole, but this is also good. Steering angle has inceased vividly, steering feel is far better and column is a lot quicker and more direct Upgraded steering angle 2. R&P 4,778 by Weir Performance - beside installment of this fine upgrade, I also changed barrings inside the diff and installed bigger crush sleeve - big thanks to Will! 3. New steering wheel - OMP Corsica, 350 mm, depth 95 mm Old Toora SW is up for grabs (on right) 5. Rota RB 8 x 15 which I painteed in red with polished outer part DRIFT.HR |
