My old trueno originally had the power mirror, with the cursor control you describe.

AE86/85 rearview mirrors
Sergiocharged: I don't have my trueno anymore, so I can't take any pictures of it... However it looks the same as the one Uzelac posted.
Afaik the powermirrors are only controlled by that single switch (hence the left/right button) behind the steering wheel like in the second picture by Uzelac. I could not connect it anymore since the wiring for the powermirrors was gone (maybe because of the SR5 -> GTS conversion? ) which was probably done by one of the previous owners... I did try to figure out how to connect everything since I should get it working to pass MOT (you need to be able to adjust mirrors from driverseat) and followed the wiring coming out of the doors. It stopped at the connector and no opposite connector was in my loom. Then someone mentioned that as long as you are able to adjust the mirror (so also by hand) it is okay, and with my length of almost 2 meters I can adjust the mirror on the passengerside with ease. Anyway, my Trueno was sold to Eircamae86 who passed it on to Mouwt. Maybe Mouwt still has the powermirrors, if they are still usable of course: http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/irish-spe...ant/t/7662 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

As I said before: I don't have the car anymore so I can't help you with any comparison of parts.
Only thing I can help you with is the USDM AE86 wiring diagram: http://www.aeu86.org/index/technical-ae8...topic=5158 On page 95 the mirror wiring is described 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
