S12 is like the 86's Fatter ugly cousin.
ha ha, only messing with you, cool car, especially in white, never saw a white one before. i like them, very similar looking to 86's i think. They any good to Drift/diff? not many of them over here, only ever seen two up close My babies - http://www.aeu86.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1432 |

Does anyone know what the CA18DET swap into the AE86 entails? I've heard of using RB engine mounts and RB tranny with the CA bell housing but what about wiring? Is there a "how-to" posted anywhere? I'm in the states and this swap is unheard of so I wanna be the first!

No such swap in the US? really?
Loads of em over in Japan Don't know about a how to though, not the kinda thing you usually find a write up off. I'd say have a chat with BenR and Ian on the forum, they put a S2000 engine in a hachi, different engine but I suspect you'll run into a lot of similar problems. Also Zax is looking into the issues involved in putting this engine into a Hachi. When you do get to the point you start doing this, LOADS of pics and full writeup PLEASE, this is going to be very interesting to follow Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |
