AE86 + CA18DET
ca18det into ae86 seems to be the latest trend in australia. the second pic you posted is the car of a toymods.com.au member. i recently read something about his car there.
looks like an "easy" conversion. at least engine and gearbox will fit caus they are small enough. ...thers an crazy vid of this car on toymods as well. doing drifts like you do on mobykrog but only way faster with lots of smoke out of the rear wheelhousings |

2 mot-racing: take a note that all Australian AE86 are SR5, with 4AC engines and solid front brake disks ! Strange Toyota import decision - I think. Anyways - this is the reason for some wild engine swaps in Australia :-)
