sweet ride. but technically it will be a AE25. the first letter indicates engine series. like 4AG, 4AC, 4AF ect. Tongue waiting to see more progress on this.

as for pricing on the peddle box. 200 sounds like a lot to you, but you'll have to think about shipping. it's not cheap to ship across the pond.
i got a price of 55 bucks to ship brake calipers to australia and that was the cheapest there was and through usps.

No there are idiots asking 200$ for the peddle box.. quite a strange market has evolved over there. I could have a Wilwood pedal setup for about the same amount (actually, thats exactly what I will be doing).

@SAM:
Also curious about your flares..these look quite decent! Where did you find them?

if it's from a te27, i could understand the high price. te27's are getting harder and harder to find parts for around here, unless your philippino. you have no luck on finding parts at a decent price.

but a TE27 pedal box is exactly the same as a TE21/TE28 pedal box, so it's worth nothing more imho Tongue

yet again, those models are harder as well. any 69-87 corolla part/s are getting harder to find and for a decent price with out having to hit junk yards that are no longer carrying these certain cars. in the 11 years that i've been hitting the junk yards, i have only seen about 10 te21,27,28 that are in decent shape to take parts off of. like i said before, unless your philippino. you'll have less luck finding these parts. also if your puerto rican you'll have better luck finding parts.

it's like you guys out there. you can still get parts from TRD and toyota that we can not get. IE, a brand new TRD rear sway bar. i've seen like 6 of you have one. out here, i've seen 8 guys sell used ones for like 120-180. guys at toyota dealers say they can't order them.

I don't believe that really. Its just killing the community. The number of junkyard cars is getting smaller, but the number of ones driving around isn't exactly skyrocketing either. Its just a cheap and easy way of squeezing money out of fellow enthusiasts and making sure it takes a lot longer for them to finish their car. Last time I checked, not a lot of millionaires decided to start fixing up 30 year old corolla's.
Then again...those parts stay for sale forever, so the whole thing turns out pretty dumb.
I'm just glad that I can still buy relatively cheap new part over here and try to keep the number of US parts to a minimum. But I am glad to see more KE's around here..might have to give my little topic a kick to see how many more are lurking.

of course your not going to believe it. your not living here so you can't experience it. i know your thinking right there, "well i wouldn't want to live out there" i don't blame you.

i'll just let you believe what you want. i'm not here to change your mind or anything. just here to check out some bad ass builds from acrross the pond.
