I don't think that many people have tried the various LSD's back to back. Im also unsure whether there are people skilled enough to actually notice the difference, I know that I probably couldn't.
Maybe that our Portugese friends can comment on the difference between the stock LSD (rebuilt with the no.6 shims) and KAAZ?

joa,

Simple reason, new I haven't found a cheaper option yet. Importing kaaz or cusco so far goes over 1000 euro's while a TRD I can get for 800 euros

But really no more reasons then that. Pure cost Smile

Then again, if before the time is right I find a good second hand Kaaz or Cusco, might aswell drop that in. For my sort of driving it really doesn't matter to much. Its not like I am going to do competition driving with my hachiSmile

2-way TRD here too.

I've driven a hachi with standard LSD whilst hunting down mine - but to be honest I never gave it the sort of stick to feel it working.

Would be interested to try a KAZ or CUSCO diffed car as the lockup is said to be more aggressive.

Regards Ian.

Mine is stock also. It is rebiulded, but i don't think my mechanics were really into the job Angry Final result: 100% wheel lock! Huh ...which is not that bad having in mind the car's purpose
Excluding all the clicking and noises, some people pay for this effect! Tongue heh
Anyway, as soon as i have a chance, I think I'll replace it with a 2-way diff. The current condition is very risky.

Kaaz can be had for around 700-800 Euro's. Cusco around 1.000 Euro's. They are not that expensive, except if you buy it from the Cusco dealer in the UK.
