AE86 with F20C project
Hi,
So I have got the F20C and 6 speed box, and are on the way to planning this conversion (will be turbo in phase 2, circa 5-600WHP). My main issue is the clearance of the hood / subframe. I see on a google search Roco made a tube subframe, doing this would mean I dont need to dry sump it for clearance reasons (saves $5k). I cant get hold of him sadly. Does anyone else have experience with solutions other than spacing up the subframe? |

Tube subframe will be done in my car too, for an SR20DET conversion. I'll post pics when the guys will start working on it. Hopefully in this century...

Yeah it makes sense to make a new subframe. Lighter and gets around a lot of rangi mods.
