Another dad's coming up here!
Since Mux most of the time is a step ahead of me (just like the hachi) I had to follow him and I'm going to be dad somewhere in August!
My girlfriend is already 13 weeks now and we waited a bit before announcing the news. I'm not going to buy a new car like Mux but I've already started making the hachi baby compatible. That brings up a question: anyone got a picture of how the 3 point seatbelts in the rear are mounted? I mean both in the trunk and also inside the car. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Congratulations !
One of the seatbelt mounting points on my car is shown on the picture, it bolts into a nut that is welded on the inside of the rear inside wheel arch. The tensioners can be fitted somewhere behind the plastic covering on the slope of the rear hatch. The things you click the seat belt into are fitted on bolts welded on the bottom of you car somewhere in the middle of the rear seat. Just take some of the plastic moulding out where it is obvious the mounts should be and you'll find them. |

Congratulations...
Can't help you wqith the seatbelt mounting stuff, don't have any in the back and never bothered to look where they have to be mounted... But you're gonna have a hernia getting the baby in and out of the backseat, or is the significant other going to sit in the back and the baby up front, so he/she can get used to the view. The whole hook 'em when they're young idea... E30 - Daily Driver AE86 - Moneypit |

Congrats!!!!
You know... theres got to be a way to convert a hatch... into a WAGON! Nissan did it with the 80s USA Pulsar(you could buy a wagon back for it to convert it from coupe to wagon) All you'd need is a hatchback frame... and then build up... instead of over..... maybe the initial form in corgated board Dan - You can | .... OR you can ask for help!!! OST Porting service - http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19991 |
