UPDATE - FAO Belgians - I'm HERE :)
Hello everyone,
I'll be living in or near Bruxelles from Jan-Nov 2010... so anyone from around that area who can give me a hint what I can expect from Belgium? I'll bring my AE86 (official non CAT version) with me, it'll be driven on Swiss plates for that period if possible. How's the law concernign modifications? Switzerland is very VERY strict i.e. nothing is allowed really... Cheers for any inputs AE86 ex-daily |

anyone? also interested what a rough rebuild of a 4pot engine (SR20DET) would cost just cleaning and skimming, relaping the valves and so on - assembling I can do myself...

If you gonna drive with Swiss plates then you have no big problems
but if you import your '86 then you better watch out with the "technical control"(dono the english word for this )if your '86 is tunned(screw suspension, big wheels,exc.....)I'm working allot in and arond Brussels so there's a chance that we see us daily driver avensis 2.0 d4d and Yaris 1.0 weekend driver 1985 AE86 |

But if all the modifications are on the swiss papers, there should be no problem to get it registered here as is.
When you're here give me a shout, we need to do a mini-meet  No Smorking AE86 |
