Another newbie from the U.K
Hello everyone, just bought a road rally AE86 and spent the last four days underneath it !
Not a problem with the car really it's just been neglegted. So far repaired: siezed calipers (3) new brake pads, new springs front and rear, handbrake, horn.
The gearbox has an odd fault where it goes into all the gears o.k but won't go from 5th to 4th at anything above 20mph !
These are fantastic strong cars, the pounding they can take is unbelieveable, I used to work at a rallyschool that had a fleet of AE86's as school cars and they just went on for years.

just had a good look around that post, I've driven and been a passenger in all of the running cars, the original pictures (yellow/white) were taken a good deal longer than 2 years ago.....
It sickens me to think that we threw away 2 skip fulls of spares when the owners decided that RWD Focus was the way to go Banging head

Thanks widar, bit dark at the moment to take piccies but I'll do my best over the next few days. Getting the car ready for a 175 mile night rally on the 17/18 September.... should be fun
