Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I went out yesterday and the car revved to 2000rpm because it was cold. Driven 1 or 2 km's and i was standing in front of a crossing and it revved from 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm to 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm etc etc.
After 4 or 5 km's it was gone and revved just 1000rpm.

Anyone familiar with this problem?

More often it's the cooling system (too little coolant), or clogged water lines somewhere around the intake manifold. Also check if your TPS sensor is still okay...

Mine does it too, but only from 1500 to 2000 rpm. And only a couple of times when its still cold.

yep I had it again yesterday and today. Knudsen your right! its 500rpm difference... begins with 2000-2500 and when its getting hotter it goes from 1500-2000 and after that it's normal 800 :S

Well, in my case i KNOW that it isnt the TPS sensor thats causing the problem. I can see the percentage of the TPS on the Apexi SAFC, and its allways @ 0% when the problem accours.

Like I said, most of the time it's the cooling system that's the cause of this. But a faulty/out of adjustment TPS is said to have the same effect on idle speeds.

Ivan you're right! My car is slowly losing coolant. Don't know where it leaks exactly but I will take a close look this weekend.
