BBBBRRRRR FREEZING
Hi all,
Just wondering if you could shed some light on this for me,since i have had the car the heating hasn't worked.Any one got any ideas.Do the cables wear easily on these cars??or would the likes of a low temp sports thermostat have anything to do with it?? Big thanks in advance.....BBBRRRR The A.d.d Clinic Automotive Detailing: http://www.addperformance.ie [email protected] JDM Import specialist: A.d.d - Ireland |

Yeah I got the same problem in my current daily driver. Its f*#&$ing cold inside.
Have you checked if your cable is atually conected to the valve undet the bonnet? if not, you can turn it on, from undet the bonnet. I changed the thermostat, but it still didnt change anything. But when I got the car, the radiator was stuffed, and patched up with some kind of play doe, and there was a bottle of radiator-leak-fix in the boot, so I'm thinking 'IT' together with some other stuff that may have broken off the radiator, has clogged up the heat exchange for the heater. H Always remember: Rev it till it blows, then back off a bit... Zenkis - Orange, Red/Black, Silver/Black, Maroon/Blue Koukis - Red, Silver/Gray, |

My heater works but is a bit pathetic. I wouldn't mind making it a bit warmer in the car, any ideas?

Hi all,
Got my heating working finally, the cable had come off at the back of the heater control unit and also it was a bit frayed where the cable enters the car from the bulkhead. But it's all good now happy days... Hi Jezza, the best thing to do is give the whole heating system a damn good servicing if you can yourself or get someone reliable to do for you.it's getting to the time of the year that you'll need all the heat you can get in the cars. You wouldn't happen to have a copy of any service manuals for the AE86 heater? ive been wanting to recon mine for years but have no idea how or what to replace.
