Back from Japan
First I want to say that Japan is a fantastic country apart from any car activities. The society is on a high standard which proves very good for the inhabitants and also the tourists.

Now back on topic. I can give you a photo report of the golden temple in Kyoto the wonderful stuff in Tokyo. Electric town Akihabara in Tokyo.

Funny stuff in Yoyogi Park. Asimo live in Odaiba etc.

But I'll just keep it to the car part here :-D

Back from Japan
It was a disappointment to only have counted 1 Hachi in Tokyo. (in the first 5 days)

Then we went to stay in Osaka. I also took the Shin-Kansen (high speed train) to, Kyoto and Kobe. Normal train to Nara (old capital of Japan)

On my second day we went to Nara. When we finished in the afternoon I already found out that Carland86 is in Kyoto. Because my companions have no car hobby what so ever I took the train to Kyoto to visit the shop myself.

Well, I actually had a chat with the owner. He doesn't speak English but with my English/Japanese phrasebook and sharing the same love for a car we got around pretty well.

I also checked out the differences between the Black Limited Edition because I actually never cared.

Back from Japan
The Osaka area gave me a good feeling. I finally saw my favorite car in its origin country from up close. In the meantime I had a phone call with Mr Doricar. We have missed each other in Japan. Sorry man would have loved to meet up.

Miguel had a holiday and we actually got in contact the day I arrived in Tokyo again.

Back from Japan
On the way back Miguel told me that he and some friends where gonna wrench an endurance car on Saturday. He asked if I would have any interest in joining them.

I said I had to see what my friends where up to. It ended up in me calling Miguel on Friday saying he had a mechanic Smile

The bizarre in Japan was shown to me in full display on Saturday evening.

These pictures can't be explained. Except that its so weird that it is cool. But still not my taste.

Most of these cars are Toyota High Ace
