Yeah, I did find the info of the 20 vs 22 ribs on the propshaft. But I figured that since the wheelbase (and floorpan) of the Carina/Celica did not change between the A40 and A60 series it was most probable the same length.
I did see a different partnumber for the automatic vs manual propshaft, so those two are definitely different from each other...

Time to revive this tread I guess...
After four years hoarding parts I ended up with way too much crap:
JDM head lights (still fixing those)
JDM tail lights (installed)
Extra body work (trunk, fenders, etc)
Koni shocks
TA40 T50 gearbox with TA40 propshaft
New rotors for the front (installed last year)
Waterpump (installed two years ago)
JDM gauge cluster
Various grilles, bumpers and other parts.

In the meanwhile I ordered a set of lowering springs, poly bushes (ae86 and I'll figure out which ones fit and which ones don't) and camberplates (KE70/TE71 items with 108mm between the holes).

Currently the Carina is garaged and I can do work on it from time to time. So I have a weekend next month (koningsday) were I can finally work a bit on the car and do the following:
replace springs/shocks
fit camber plates
replace bushes for polybush items

Another thing on the list of to-do is to scan a bunch of manuals for the Carina.
And I found a wiring diagram and a collision repair manual containing diagrams like this:

you will need help and some american sized tools (or new nuts/bolts ) to fit those camberplates, ask me how i know

You'll probably regret buying those polyurethane bushings after you've mounted them.. (because not racecar). Swapping bushings is definately a job that requires good access and some tools.. getting the old ones out can be a bit of a chore.

U sure? The ones i bought for the KP61 came with metric bolts, didnt have a problem with those. Unlike the GC coiloversleeve bolt (TX27 fit the allen bolt tho )

mine only had US sized allen bolts and nuts. And why they come with nuts and bolts is a mystery to me, fitting them was a real ballache, pressed in studs like the Cusco units is waaay better and easier.

Yes and no: some of my current bushes are almost none existent as 30 year old bushes have their limitations. As the Carina is no longer in use as the family hauler and I mainly use it for "fun" I can do what I want with it and I definitely like to stiffen up the ride and get back that old hachi feeling.

Space and tools is something I need to arrange but if I can't persuade them I can always attack them with the good old flamethrower.

As they are from T3 that's a very viable case here. I'll first have a look which ones they are and get back to you if I need help.
