Bean Bandit Wrote:AFR on the stock ECU and engine are astonishingly lean but it never missed a beat so I guess everything is fine like that.

what values are you reading ?
did you calibrate the sensor before installation ?
the stock ECU doesn't run lean at all Huh (at least my one doesn't)
Is your car MAF or MAP ? did it come with a CAT from factory ?

Cheers

nice car Smile

my car is still stock running on MAF no CAT and EGR has been removed.

cruise is 15-16, mid throttle 14-15 and WOT 13-14 actualy not as bad as I probably made it look Smile

Angry some stupid ass just backed his BMW into my front at the supermarket Angry

so I have the joy of taking my frontbumper off tomorrow and see what the damage is - the bumper is pushed back about 20mm on the lefthand side so I suspect the support assy being bent... at least the lights are still fine.

but it stresses me so much as these things are so unneccesary if people would look where they are going Banging head

ok some small plan update: following this thread http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/ae86/p/121895#121895
I'm starting to draw my custom airbox - first figures will be around 4.9l (or 4.3 if the volume of the stack is substracted) still need to measure the space in the enginebay but think there's enough space for it...
as soon as I have rendered some first prety construction plans I'll post some pics... could take a while as I haven't used a CAD programm for the last 7 years

any input is welcome as usual Smile
