Best set of coilovers for the AE86
panda_tureno86 Wrote:8kg/mm and 6kg/mm isnt bad at all for the street. It depends a lot on the type of roads you use it on. If you have nice smooth roads like in Japan (and I guess theyre pretty good in US too), 8/6 combo works pretty nice. But for example here in Europe, especially in most of the countries in central and eastern Europe, the roads are pretty rough. I drove in a Greddy equiped car as a passanger and it was horrible. But as soon as we got on some newly paved roads it started acting much better. 86ers.org AE86 x GXE10 |

Best set of coilovers for the AE86
Eircamae86 Wrote:Im going for the Gaz rear coilover very soon, maybe Would be very interested to hear how the rear GAZ coilovers stack up against other offerings if anyone has experience with them - ideally for race/circuit use. I can get these in Aust now and by the time I stuff around with a decent seperate shock and spring combo for the rear the price is pretty similar. Application will be track only. |
