Bit of a crash..
Thanks to everyone for the kind remarks. @ Rikard, good luck fixing her up...I'm shure she'll be better then before.
@Dorito: Funny you should say that..Right now I'm trying to forget both...when it rains it pours. Oh well, life sucks...deal with it. As for the replacement...looking for a car is always a fun project. I'm looking in several directions at the moment. An AE86 would be fun, but to me the fun/euro factor of the 86's is starting to drop dramatically. Those things are getting expensive! Plus most of the cars for sale are semi-wrecks that need a restauration to get them into dependable daily driver mode. I've really taken a shine to the older corolla coupe's. Particularly the TE27 models. One of these oldies in good shape would be a nice alternative. The yellow racing car for sale in London is just what I'm looking for, but I'm guessing it isn't road registered...The yellow KE35 coupe was nice as well, but it seems it is sold. Other alternatives include another MX5 (seriously a great little car, and quite capable. Probably one of the best kept performance secrets), an Alfa Romeo Bertone Junior(aka gtv, preferably with a 2 litre nord engine...but dependable???) or maybe even a Japan import of some sort. All suggestions are more than welcome. Regards, Damir A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
