Brakes kill engine.
I have a AA60 carina, 3A engine carburetted. When I apply brake and the engine is cold it boils down and cut out. Is this normal? How can I rectify this problem?

Brakes kill engine.
there should be a one way check valve in the brake booster hose. if it is not there then you are creating low vacuum every time you push the brake which kills the car

Brakes kill engine.
Yes there is one. I am not sure if it's defective or not. I guess I'll have to see if I can pick up one at the auto store. Thank you for your advice.
