Cleaning of the lights

First remove screws from the inner side of the light, put em in the warm owen. Then use flat screwdriver (or more of them) and separate front from the back.
I cleaned / painted the inside side of mine with crome paint.
Assembly is the reverse, put the parts in oven, when the sealant aroung the edges gets warmer press in the two parts, screw in.

Do one light a time. Dont bake your lights.
Do this when your mom is not at home.
Don't brake freshly built lights on a track day.

Have you painted the inside of the headlights chrome as well? I really wanted to paint them bling bling chrome on the inside but couldnt find the right paint at the time. Now they're painted sparkling metallic silver, but the difference is hard to notice.

Yup, chrome spray paint it is.
It's not like a real chrome, but it's much much better then before.

Ivan, you can get a set from motip at Gamma. A black primer and a chrome topcoat.

You dont say..why didnt I find that out before....I could only find the chrome you can wipe off with your finger afterwards, that was not really practical for a headlight.

Yeah I tried it on one of the tubes on my car but wasn't happy with the result. The black primer coat actually looks very good, the chome is cool but if you aren't carefull and spray on to much, it runs, if you spray on to little, it wont give a good finish. You have to spray a layer every 30 minutes, when the lower coat isn't dry but its as wet that it will run out. That is supposed to give the best result.

I must say the parts that worked looked good, but the rest... So I wiped it off and sprayed the thing black I'm thinking of doing my valve covers with the chrome though..

Mux...for the valve covers, go with a black (OEM YO!) or red crinkle paint. There is NOTHING that looks better...
