Coilovers with Konis???
Previous owner of my AE86 just told
me that the car has handmade coilovers in the front. I asked him if I use short stroke AE92 dampers, and he said no 'cause: "Koni made dampers -with oil- for the AE sold as a kit with Eibach short springs" Can that be true? And if I really have front coilovers wich dampers can I use? danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the end ![]() |

Coilovers with Konis???
In the back you could use the normal ae86 Koni shocks, but I think it would be better to find some kind of short stroke alternative for the rear as well when your lowering the car alot (to avoid springs coming loose when unloaded)

I got no money for rear coilovers right now... P.S.: Nobody telling me if Koni made this oil kit dampers - Eibach spings, I was told about! danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the end ![]() |

HTS is import only. They are SS and good for coil-overs.

Coilovers with Konis???
Ooh sorry. Didn't read the entire thread. Anyway the HTS can be sold for the rear only and it's a normal damper. No coil-over.
