Where are you from? When you finish the project, can I see your car? I've never seen any AE86 parked. It is very rare in Portugal! Confused

Mr. Overclock, I'm from Sintra.

About my project, i have some progress.

Car is at the body shop and body repair is almost done. Next is paint.

You guys told me to do some seam weld, and so I have. Not quite what I was initially thinking, but the result is there. I have only reinforced the engine bay area. I'm not going to race it, so I think this will be enough.

I had some parts sandblasted and I left them to paint with lacquer (I don't know if this is the right term). I've been told that it's the best way to paint them!

Anyone know what's the toyota black color code for the panda paint scheme? White is 040 - Toyota Super White II, but I don't know what's the black. I've managed to find 202 color code, but I'm not sure and at the body shop they had no 202 under the Toyota colors.

I'm fighting the same problem at the moment (rust) and it was very usefull to see your work.

This is insane, I want my ae86 parts painted as well. Does anyone know what kind of paint (Laquer) is used?
