I can't seem to find the search screen.

I can take the blur off if it looks bad. Thought it might help it look like it's lighting up.

Something else about the new style, call me stupid, send me back to the optician etc. etc. but i can't find a 'create a new topic' button anywhere??

Create new topic was on vacation: it has the same issue as the new reply button... So it should be back again!
Also added the search functionality again. It was apparently accidentally removed by me, trying to create the new menu structure.
I'll have a look at the handbrake light next.

Well, just having odd hours these days... Young babies have strange sleeping habits.

I have implemented the parking brake icon on the locked/closed topics now.
Apart from the other font usage there isn't much I can do anymore.
If nobody has any other issues, I'll switch the default layout on November 1st.

Good call on switching the default template, the new one is working fine at the moment.

About the parking brake icon, I still see the old icon in the legend on the bottom of the page, might want to update that.
The logo is missing a small corner (bottom left ). If you're using Inkscape to export you just need
to select the objects you want and set the radio button to 'selection only' (or something like it) on the export menu.

Ah, you meant that icon for locked topics... I did that for the button/icon inside the locked topic.
Will update the other one as well, but it might be a bit more difficult as those icons are really small.
I'll fix up the logo as well before switching the templates.

Okay, I've updated the logo and locked-topic icon and I think it is done now.
I've also enabled the new template forum wide, so everyone (except whoever selects the old one manually) will get the new look-and-feel.

Big thanks to Ivan for the design/ideas and also those who helped testing/commenting the theme!
