Drift setup, choices on a budget
bozu Wrote:D2 isn't good quality though from my experience.. with good maintenance you can get enough life out of them to be worth the money. regular cleaning and lubing/protecting is crucial (gun oil works pretty good) AE86 ex-daily |

Or if you absolutely need a set of good coilovers, HTS102`s arent bad either (And about half the price of the complete Megan set you are thinking of)
Should work good even with the heavier 3T-C, I know a guy who runs them on a 2JZ Cressida so.. No need for braided lines, just normal copper and hoses, minimal cost, same thing. If you need new nipples from OEM brake booster to attach different lines, 10x1 is the right pitch sizes (No fancy inches or british stuff or ultra weird small pitch sizes) You also save money on getting brand new master cyl`s from different makes like Beck Arnley/Raybestos and so forth (rockauto) instead of inherently weak (And extremely expensive) New Old Stock items. Unlike many other parts, this stuff dont have to be OEM And what everyone else has said here, "stage 0", fix whats broken/worn out, weld the diff, get a set of el-cheapo rims you can slam used tires on, dont matter how they look, just go to the track and have fun, you`re on a budget so no worries about having a psaiko looking car, if someone tells you differently then tell`em they must buy you the parts or stfu hehe Oh and also, no need for strut bar in the rear, you have a coupè (From what I can see on your pic), these are already stiff enough to break traction with far less torque than the main battle tank engine you`re currently running, just dont get excited and over-rev it Save your money and use them for gas on one extra lap around the track instead 1x AE86 84` Zenki Coupè Levin 4A-GE 20v 1x AE86 83' Zenki Coupe Levin 4A-GE 16v 1x TA60 82' Sedan 2T 8V 1x TA40 78` MK1 Zenk/Pre-Facelift Wagon 4A-GE 16v |
