Electric mirror loom
Can anyone take a picture of the area where the electric door mirror loom (coming out of the door) enters back into the body of the car. For the life of me I can't figure it out.
Thankyou.

Could be wrong but I am fairly certain that it feeds through where it would go if there was wiring for electric windows etc...that's where it went on mine, although it initially had electric windows.

Should be removing the power mirrors to save weight!

Funny thing. The reason I couldn't find was because there is no hole to find. Mine is factory without electric mirrors.

When I bought my car it had electric mirrors installed, but it didn't have
the rocker switches fitted. So I'm guessing one of the previous owners
fitted the mirrors, but didn't get round to wiring them up. I've got the
switches now, but they are still not wired up Blush

How it happened to have the rubber tubes in place I don't know. But they
came in handy for running the wires for my door speakers.

This is what the loom looks like

I had a hell of a time trying to work these out.

One of the mid 80's imported Corona's uses the same loom. Sorry, can't remember which.

And here is an earlier thread on the topic with some photo's showing where to drill your hole in the A pillar. Later on I found a picture showing the factory holes in the A pillar and door which confirmed these.
