You can easily use Konis, but they are too exspensive compared to TRD. Imo you would have to get the Konis revalved to make them work properbly. TRD or HTS just work.

I have a pair front adjustable Yellow AE86 Koni for sale, because of TRD short stroke conversion.

Best drifting struts
Thanks for all the help, guys, I really appreciate it. I just got in a fender bender with another car so my funds went from low to no, and I ended up ordering the KYB gr2s for $180 for the whole set. I'll be upgrading within a year or two though, and I'll keep in mind what was recommended. Thanks again
