as far as I've heared it's going to be a boxer or a version of the NZ engine family... I do hope for the boxter though - would sound awesome.

Its all speculation at the moment, though they mentioned at Geneva it would be a 2012 release so its definitely planned.
I heard it would be a 2.0 L N/A flat 4 from Subaru, but they haven't really announced a spec yet. A lot of the thinking behind the car isn't so much about power but about handling, double wish bone on the back, light around 1250 Kg, (well light for these days), low CoG. The layout is designed to be FMR. Sounds kind of like the S2000 but in coupe form. |

Mazda is a great car but i would prefer to see 86 gets more power. |

Well, Fii (ae86, JZA80 and ZZW30 owner from Latvia) went to Geneva Motor Show to see ft86 (european debute for this concept) and production Lexus LFA in flesh
