Fender flares on a 4-door?

Anybody here put fender flares on a 4-door car,mines a Daihatsu Charmant -87?
If anyone could help me with pix and info I would be thankfull!

Daihatsu Charmant 1,3 -87
Shortened Volvo XC70 rear springs in the front,original shortened springs in the rear,black paintes 14x7 alloys with 185/60 14 tires and 12000K Bi-xenon lights and also 12000K Xenons in the extra lights,so yes,I do find home though it is dark!
I have a 4A-GE and 5-speed transmission waiting to get installed and also a LSD rear axle from a diesel vanette,probably known as Serena for you!
So maybe some day this car will go Sideways!

It's an ugly 80's breadbox, but that's also what makes it cool .
I'm currently in the process of fitting fender flares to my 4-door volvo 360, and it can be done, there's not a lot of room for flares though. The problem is that you have very little room to work with under the door, so the flares end up very low. I'm going to trial fit the rears and see if I like the look, if it doesnt work out, maybe try to mount them higher so they overlap the door, then cut and plastic-weld both ends closed again so the door can still open.

We just started doing the front this weekend, and did take some pics, they're still on the camera I guess. I'll post them up once the guy who took them sends them to me.

I'm using some really old and crappy 70's celica plastic fender flares. All there is to it is finding the right position, clamping it to the fender, and drill+poprivet it to the body. Since mine are so old and damaged I'll be repairing/reinforcing them with fibreglass once they are on the car. I couldnt do this before since that would have made them very stiff, and they need to bend a little to fit the 360 snuggly.
Watch out for this if you're getting fender flares! Fibreglass flares will NOT bend so if they are made for a different car, you'll have a hard time getting them to fit. I'm almost sorry I need to put fibreglass over those flares though, the exposed pop-rivets look damn sexy on a black car..
