Fuel system setup
Good morning all
I was wondering if anyone is able to give me some review notes on this fuel cell: http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_inf...ts_id=1868 I can't really tell by the image alone if it has a well on the bottom to avoid uncovering the fuel pickup when the fuel level is low. Is anyone using this tank? And if so, did you have any problems with fuel surge (in track driving) and had to go to a swirl pot and extra low pressure pump setup? Thanks  86'LEVIN Track Project |

Fuel system setup
bit confused, this and almost all tanks of this kind are designed for an inline fuel pump. According to the description, this particular one has a 2 inch sump to insure the pump can alway suck in fuel BUT it's at the back as this on is designed for drag racing - so might not be a good choice for autocross or drifting. Most of the others have a pickup line inside that usually is directed to the rear right. For the sake of one additional low pressure pump I'd go with a swirlpot system if I'd go down that route.
