GAUGES - which?
Hi,
im buying gauges for oil temperature and oil pressure. Can anyone advise me which to get. I need precision, normal price and adequate styling (plain black (VDO-siemens like). So im looking for Siemens-VDO gauges, but cant quite find a shop nearby. What are your opinions on theese? Also found theese (EQUUS gauges): http://www.iequus.com/products.php?category_id=100 Does anybody know what they are like? Or perhaps if you have any other recomendations.. |

Equus are cheap crap, slightly less so are the simpler VDO offerings.. but I'm sure both will do fine, since you not driving a spaceship or something.
Most of the more expensive gauges stand out like a turd in a punchbowl on an ae86 dash, and I like the stock look personally. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

No contest: fire up ebay and find yourself a set oil/pressure/temp gauges from an early 911. Simply the most beautifull gauges out there. Senders will be more expensive (maybe if you need to get them through porsche, but the guages themselves are fairly cheap 2nd hand.
