Nice.
Is the new engine MAP or AFM type?
You will also need make/buy adapter to fit the RWD intake manifold on a small port engine.

Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on!

Engine is indeed MAP, 7 rib, high compression, small block, oil squirters ,etc.
It came off an automatic AE92, so it has had a relatively "civilised" life (so far Evil ).

ZaX --> you are right. The adaptor for the intake is in my budget.

Then you have the same engine like me.
7rib small port with MAP is very rare 100kw/140hp engine. Wink
Thumbs up!

Finally an update on my engine swap. Hurray!

The "new engine" was taken apart on Wednesday evening. Parts look to be in top condition. No obvious play in the valves, cams or crankshaft. Yesterday was "parts cleaning day"and today morning they will take a chemical bath and undergo some machining work (don't know the english technical term). I have already ordered the port adapter from T3 and I am currently looking for performance springs and retainers. Any ideas?

Pictures coming soon, but don't expect too much detail, as closeups are very blurry Sad

Retainers are probably cheapest from a toyota yaris (look it up in the club4ag tech section for the engine code and part nr's.). Those are inner-shim buckets.
Valve springs are available from some aftermarket cam manufacturers I think (maybe catcams or Kent?).

FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC!
