So after all the trials and tribulations and nearly 8 years, the car went off for final inspection for it's certification. I am happy to report that it has passed and in a week or so I can drive it whenever I please. I had it towed there but drove it home. Such a good feeling!

Don't be shy, we won't mind if you post the other 20 pics that didn't turn out as if you have a photography hobby.

Long time, no post...
Unfortunately my smallport engine failed due to 3 of the ball bearings pressed into the oilways in the head becoming unstuck and wreaking havoc havoc on the head internal. Things being as the are, it's getting difficult (and expensive) to source good 16V parts. 16V smallport parts seem to be the worse affected as many are now hoarding them away. Enter the blacktop 20V. The decision was made to go down this road and a sub 90k blacktop engine has been sourced. It's still early days but the engine has been completely rebuilt with the addition of silvertop rods and an SQ ENGINEERING rwd conversion kit. Anyways, I'm still here. Should be done shortly.... http://86life.wordpress.com/ |
