Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
no.
Always wanted to go to the 'old' JAE, when it was a nice (non plastic...) meeting. But now it has turned into 1 big polyesterparty i'm not interested anymore But those days are over, so no nice oldies meet for me Only the 70's Celica meeting here in Holland (and the meeting next weekend in Passau, but that's 800km from here ) "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
Welcome!
Very nice car and pics! I have been doubting to buy a S12 instead of a hachi because I did not have the money for the hachi. But lucky enough I waited long enough. Ivan141 Wrote:I've seen people drifting a stock s12 on trackdays....pretty cool car, shame about the weight and engines..Yeah, but in Holland and Germany the S12 was also delivered with the FJ20E engine. Cars with that engine have a LSD when stock. If you see a S12 for sale look at the bonnet: if it has a (stock) scoop on it, it is definetly a FJ20E. We got the Fj in the UK to, I have a freind who has one, they didnt come with LSD tho (over here at least) Hmmmm thats very interesting if i can find a european one and whip off its diff.... It really is amazing how similar these cars are, I wonder if they were designed by the same bloke? or maybe Nissan stole Toyotas blueprints! still no 86 ________________________ |

Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
I think nissan took a good look at the ae86's when designing their cars..
The silvia is a trueno hatchback lookalike, and then there is the Sunny coupe, which has a lot of levin coupe-like features FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
Yesterday I was having a walk with my girlfriend and we passed the black S12 which is parked in my neighbourhood (posted some pics of it in the past) and she yelled that it looked the same as my car. I explained it looks very familiar, but is not the same.
She passes each morning this car (about a halfyear) and never noticed it untill I buy a trueno. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Seriously tho, it looks like im not going to be able to afford my Hatchi till next summer The cost is just too high, Still I AM loving the Silvia at the moment, I lowered it and Just bought it £300 (about 450 euros i think) worth of Avon ZZR3 tyres! Feeling nice and at home here now, still no 86 ________________________ |

Hello, how are poor enthusiasts treated here?
blueneon,
I just remembered something that I heard awhile back. A friend of mine is really into sylvia's and he said that most engine parts of the sylvia are exchangeable with many other nissans. One of the things he let us know is if you take the 16valve head of a 180sx S13, and you take the block of a 2 liter bluebird 8valve, you can create a two liter 16 valve that can work with the stock turbo just fine. Nice thing offcourse is that the 2liter block from a bluebird can be picked up for very little money. Finding a 16 valve S13 head is the tricky part but that doesn't stop S13 owners upgrading their car offcourse Then again, I think they even put one of these engines in an S12 so might be something worth looking into Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |
