Welcome!
I see you are reviving a lot of old topics from the dead. Can you tell some more about your projects? Hello (pics of my car added 31jan2006)
well my first GTS project was to import all the levin parts new from japan and copy the body work
that took me about 3 years to do so now i have CF and FRP hood and fenders for levin front i can get everything new from toyota japan but it is quite expensive the next project i got and am still working on is a 1981 starlet 7AGE hi compression AE92 engine weber 45mm carbs custom metal metal clutch 1 piece drive shaft and supra rear axle the only goal for this car was to do a wheelie on the street i got about 90% of the parts to finish this project but other projects have come up, so it is currently on hold next project is a 1984 white sr5 coupe i bought planning on putting in a Hasslegren FA engine detuned for street use 8000 rpm redline 210hp at the crank front end is a FRP levin front 1 piece drive shaft GTS TRD 2 way LSD rear axle this project is about 75% done just waiting for the engine from hasslegren then to buy the suspension for it (HTS and TRD springs) My pinnacle project witch i have been working on for about a year now is a RWD K20A Type R this will eventually go into my first car (the CF levin coupe) so far the clutch is done flywheel will be oem bellhousing is due to be done next week going to use a W55 trans the engine was blown so it it is at hasslegren getting the works Cams and CPU have been sorted i was planning on using AE101 or AE111 itb's with custom adaptor i will have to make a custom exmanifold that should be a lot of fun to weld the goal for this engine combo was to not have to chop up the trans tunnel like in a f20C swap also to be able to overtake a F20C powered AE86 at the track My friend Ben Vanderhule F20C only made 125 ft lbs at the wheel is his F20C hp i am not sure of i think he said it was about 190 thats what i am working on now hopefully these will all get done eventually Max [email protected] |

Hello (pics of my car added 31jan2006)
Good to be able to say "Welcome" to the man who provided me with such an excellent clutch. Good to have you here Max!

Hello (pics of my car added 31jan2006)
Whoa. Sounds like you have some sick projects there.
7AGE in a starlet. That's an aweful lot of torque for a featherlight car. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Hey max....i´m building a 7age, but i ´ve been looking around for a stronger clutch, what can you do for that engine? Will the oem hold around 160-170hp plus loads of torque?

Hello (pics of my car added 31jan2006)
with the 200mm clutch i sell, one local shop dynoed 293hp at the wheels
the car was in a few magazines the metalic green levin (owner takahiro something) it is a GZE with turbo running on honda componets and cpu so the limit to these 200mm clutch i am not sure, maybe 350hp??? Thats should probably work for you ya? Max [email protected] |
