Help with brakes needed! FIXED
Hello everyone!
Brakes are now ok. They didn't work because of my wheel bearing had broken really badly. I changed new bearings and brakes are back! Thanks to everyone for helping. |

Internal leak in the master brake cylinder could cause such a thing..
look for bubbles in the fluid reservoir (have someone press the brakes a few times). Bubbles = not OK. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Boiled fluid probably. Bleed through new fluid, 1 litre should be enough.

Brakefluid seemed very old when me and my friend bled the brakes. No air was in the brakesystem, but we noticed that left front and right back corner didn't have much pressure. Brakefluid just like dribbled from the bleedscrew.

I'm not sure how the standard brake limiter valve works on the '86 but generally if you bleed the rear brakes with the rear wheels in the air, ''hanging'', the line pressure will be limited.

After the pedal went to the floor did it pump back up again ?
It it did was it a good pedal when cold ? The system is split front to rear, have you tested that both systems work ? An analogue brain in a digital World |
